For our final project, the professor challenged us to design and construct an original publication completely from scratch, giving us total freedom over the contents and design.
I chose to scale up my previous zine project into a hand bound 3D pop up book. I kept the same black and white palette to focus on transitioning flat images into dimensional paper structures. Rather than focusing on the overall vibe of the songs like before, I used specific lyrics to guide the design of each pop up.
